Dinosaur Museum

We visited the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point a couple of weeks ago, and I forgot to post the pictures. We went with a big group which made for a lot of kids all together! Matt has been gone a lot this summer,(Really....A LOT)so it is always nice to have people to hang out with to pass the time.

This was an attempt to get all of the kids in one picture. I think there are still a lot of them that got away before I took it.

They had some sweet aprons for the kids to wear while they dug through the sand.

Savannah had a great time! Thanks Papa and Gramma!!

Matt has been begging and begging me for a puppy!...So, much like I always do when Savannah begs and begs for a treat...I gave in!

One Month Later!

I can't believe we have had Maxwell around for a month now! We love having him in our family! He has been a really good baby and is beginning to be a lot more alert.

Max, headed to church. What a handsome devil!

Pretty Princess!!! Savannah has been really into dressing up in her princess get up! She always wants to put it on and then walk around outside, hoping people will see her! She really is starting to love the Princess stuff even though she is yet to see a princess movie!

Update!

Thanks for all of the nice comments on our last post! I guess all you have to do to get people to comment is have a baby!
Everything has been going well. Savannah loves her new baby brother! She always wants to see him and says she wants to "pet" him. She will pat his head and whisper "baby". It is pretty cute! She is even more obsessed with her baby dolls now too. They are always needing a diaper change or to be wrapped up in a blanket. She has spent a lot more time with her dad this last week since he has been around more, and is becoming quite the daddy's girl! She follows him everywhere he goes! She has started calling me 'Miriam' and calls Matt 'Honey'.

Our first big outing was for the 24th of July. We pulled the Primary float in the Mapleton parade. I wish I had taken pictures of the kids on the float, but the only one I took was Savannah wearing her shades!

Matt's sister and her family were in town, so we had fun visiting with them and mostly just hanging out!

Savannah also had her first official haircut last week.

She looked so cute sitting in the chair. It actually ended up being a really bad experience. The girl cutting it did a horrible job, and I'm not sure she has ever spoken to a kid before, but it was pretty cute anyway!

NEXT...
My brother's wife threw him a surprise birthday party at Classic Skating....Again, I didn't get any good pictures of us actually skating. This one is the only one we have!

Matt and Maxwell trying to hunt down some dinner for us!

Maxwell, chillin' in the car seat with his cousin, Julianna.

Savannah likes to hold him every now and then. I know it looks like he is screaming, but it really is just a yawn.

4th of July!

We love Independence Day! It is extra fun now, because it is also Savannah's birthday! I can't believe my little baby is 2!!! Well, I can...she acts like she is two! Other than the tantrums, I really do love this stage she is in. It has been so fun seeing her learn so much!
We had a great day! It was pretty low-key...just had a BBQ at home with some family and friends...but we loved it! I have been a slacker at blogging, so be prepared for loads of pictures!

The birthday girl, blowing out her candles. The cupcakes arranged as a flag was my weak attempt at some creativity!

Yummy Yum Yum Yummer Yum!!

We caught the big kids outside playing with fire! Big Surprise!

The kids piled in a car to watch the fireworks on the street. It was so cute!

Lighting fireworks!

Sadly, this lame turtle was the favorite among the kids! Too bad we didn't know that before spending money on the other ones!

I love all of the flags on the 4th!!

We had a visit from Ninja Connor!

Matt did a great job helping to open presents! He was surrounded by toddlers!

Nudists!

We had a family reunion last weekend at Payson park. It was so hot! Savannah insisted on having her shirt off. She is really into nudity lately...I promise we don't run around naked all of the time at home, but she is always pulling her clothes off.

She was so funny, just chillin' in her chair, shirt off, and eating a popsicle! There is a pool by the park, and as soon as she saw it, she starts stripping again, saying she is ready to go swimming! The girl loves the water!

Sometimes, we fill her little pool in the yard to keep her entertained while we do yard work. On this day, she decided she would rather help in the yard.

Notice she is wearing my gardening gloves! (Which she insisted were called socks!)

Only 2 more weeks till we have a new baby around here! It hasn't really hit me yet, so I think we may be in for a little shock! I am getting a little nervous about the delivery/recovery thing! Wish me luck!
