For a FHE activity I thought it would be fun to go to pumpkin land here in Orem. I had heard it was a really cool little place. We didn't have a whole lot of time, but I dragged Matt and Savannah there determined to get some cute pumpkin land-ish pictures. We were kind of confused when we got there....I think there is a lot more to it than we figured out because I have seen pictures of cool trails that I did not see when we were there. Oh Well...we still got one picture by some giant pumpkins, and we did get to gobble at some turkeys we saw. One had a huge goiter on it's face! The trip was worth it just to see that!
My brother has quite the green thumb and he has plans to grow the biggest pumpkin ever next year, so watch out for pictures of it when the time comes!!

Grumpy and Grandma Peanut!!

We had a good time taking a road trip with Matt's parents. They stayed with us for a few days before heading back to Montana. Savannah had a great time getting all sorts of attention. She is such a show off when visitors are here.


I tried to get a good picture before they left, but Savannah obviously didn't want to sit still, so these are what I got. I still think they are cute!

Well, I guess everyone is only seeing a white background on our blog which is wierd because on my computer I still have the floral wallpaper. Oh well.... If anyone knows any other way to have a different template, let me know.

Arches!

We made a quick stop at Arches on the way home from New Mexico. I wish we had more time to spend there. It was so pretty! I want to go sometime when we can hike around. I have been remembering lately how much I love to hike. It has been so long since I have really been though. Anyway...I highly recommend Arches!

Big eyes

Playing at the Park

We took a little walk to the park to play with some cousins while we were in New Mexico!

She had a good time swinging, but she was so funny, because she just stayed so stiff the whole time!!!

Road Trip

We packed up with Matt's parents and headed to Farmington, New Mexico. Matt has a sister here and we came for our niece's baptism. We weren't far from Silverton, CO so we took a trip there. As you can tell from the pictures, we weren't exactly dressed for the weather. Silverton is a cute little town in the mountains with lots of little shops to walk through. I walked through snowy streets in my flip flops. It was pretty cold, but we had a good time. Savannah has done so well on the trip!!! She should be getting used to traveling by now I guess!

A new addition to go with our previous new addition!

Matt and I have been looking into buying some horses. His brother just happened to move and not really have a place for his horse, so now we have it. We are pretty excited about it. We are still looking for a friend for him. We both love horses and are looking forward to being able to ride!!! Isn't he great? We are taking votes for a name for him.

Who doesn't love a good fort?

We stayed the night at my brothers house the other night and decided to build a fort. It's funny because the kids were already in bed when we built it. I love forts!!! This one is a pretty sissy one. When we were first married and living in Indiana, we built a huge fort! It took up the whole living room. We used every piece of furniture we had. We had our mattress inside it and slept there every night for a week! It was funny when people would come to visit and didn't have anywhere to sit because the whole room was one big fort! Like I said though...Who doesn't love a good fort?

Playing in the Yard

Savannah and I love to spend time outside. Fall is my favorite time of year and Savannah loves to explore. She climbs off and on the porch over and over. She also loves the grass and pinecones! There is a big walnut tree in our yard and she has recently discovered the fun of collecting Walnuts and throwing them!!

Welcome New Cousins!!!

Savannah has some new cousins this month! Matt and Angie had twin boys and Jake and Krystal just had a little boy! We are so excited! We still have three more cousins on the way too!!!

Cousins and Grandparents

Everybody loves Papa! All of the kids seem to flock to my dad when he is around. There is a high price to pay for having all of the kids love him though....he never gets any time away when grandkids are around.

Leamorado Days!!!

I finally got some pictures from the little rodeo on Labor Day. We dressed all of the girl cousins alike and they looked so cute!!!!





I never said anything about them being lady-like. Notice how Savannah is sitting with her diaper hanging out.


I don't care how much you sing and clap and dance around like a crazy person....it is pretty tricky trying to get a bunch of kids to look at a camera for a picture.

Wallpaper

So, my parents just bought a house. We are very excited for them. They are still in the same great little town, just a new place. We spent a couple days this week helping them get things ready to move in. The house is covered in wallpaper! I hate wallpaper now. If any of you are thinking of putting some up in your home, you are welcome to come spend a day peeling it off my parents' walls to help you change your mind.
We had a good time though and it is fun to see the changes! It is going to look great when everything is finished!
