Well, Savannah and I headed out this morning for her first gymnastics class. I left the house armmed with a camera and the cutest little girl dressed in her pink Nike slickey outfit. I was sure to get a great picture of her doing her first cartwheel....no such luck. She would not leave my lap the entire time. She even hated the singing time part! I do have to give her a little slack--she is teething and having a rough time with it. I woke her up early when she wasn't feeling good, then dragged her out in the cold to play on mats with kids she doesn't know. We will try again next week. Hopefully she will be feeling a little better.
Other news...I woke up one morning last week with a big round belly. I swear it happened that fast. Im pretty sure I wasn't showing this soon with Savannah. Oh well! Not quite time to bust out the maternity clothes though, so I am just looking chubby!

Ta-Da!!!!!
Savannah can reach our cd player, and she always starts it herself so she can dance! She just recently learned to say "Ta-da" after her tricks....I love how she runs to the stairs to stand up and say it!!!

Playing in the Snow!
Play time!
I know, I know....I have been having a hard time getting back into blogging. I will try to post more.

Savannah and I had a week where we were bored out of our minds!!! I decided we needed some scheduled things to do....so, we have begun an official playgroup. We have had two now and they were both big hits! I'm surprised the kids got along better than expected. It will be a weekly thing now, so anyone reading this that wants to join and thinks they can put up with 8 or so kids under 3...let me know!
Also....Savannah is having her first gymnastics class this week! We are pretty excited about it! We will let you know how it goes.

Winter Time!
It has been fun having so much snow this year! Here are a few pictures from our yard:

The girls are sad that it is too cold to play outside. I love the look on Ruby's face.

View from the back....we sold one of our horses.

Our cute nieghbor boy came out to help Matt shovel the sidewalk. (This was pre-back injury...I imagine I will be out shoveling next time it snows)

The McRib is Back!
Have you seen those commercials for McDonalds McRib sandwich. They have a huge line coming out of ol' Micky-D's because I guess they are all excited about the McRib's return. Before any of you run to get in line for it, let me just warn you...any Ribs that have a Mc in front of them, you should probally steer clear of. Second, while I'm all about cheap food, any time you only pay $1 for Ribs it is probally for a reason. Just thought I should point that out to any of you incase the pictures alone have not yet turned you off. Don't do it! And if you do, don't tell me about it!

We are still here...
I haven't been posting as much as I used to, so I added a couple new posts. Things have been kind of crazy. Matt rolled a go-cart at my parents house and got a compression fracture on one of his vertebrae. It should heal on its own, so we are hoping he won't have back trouble for a long time. He is pretty sore now. He is a stinker and wasn't wearing a seatbelt. We were pretty nervous and had to haul him to the hospital on a piece of ply-wood. Luckily it wasn't more serious.
Savannah
Ruby!
We had our niece, Ruby, for a little bit while her parents took a trip to Hawaii! The girls get along really well as long as they are not after the same toy! Savannah loved having a friend here all of the time and was sad when she left.

Wrestlemania!

Hiding behind the bench. They kept hiding here all week. Notice Savannah peeking through the barn hole.

Just having a little sippy before bed!

Watching Sesame Street in Spanish

They were making a lot of noise, so I went to check on them, and they were just chillin in the closet.

New Years!!
We can't believe 2008 is already here! Here are some great things that happened for us in 2007:
--Trip to Phoenix and Montana for Matt's brother's wedding! We get a new Sister-in-law!
--Move to St. Louis for the summer. It was Platinum Protection's first year, and everything went great! Matt loves his job! We made lots of new friends there and took a few trips to Nauvoo! Savannah grew up a lot and started to walk!
--Trip to Palmyra for a friend's wedding! It was so fun to see the church history sites there.
--Move back to Utah! We were excited to get things back to normal!
--Year-end party at Park City followed by trip to Lake Powell with family!! Soo fun!!
--We get some horses! They are kind of stinkers, but fun!
--Trip to New Mexico! Visit family there! Also got to see some of Colorado and Arches National Park.
--Trip to Montana for deer hunt!--Lots of new nephews born!
--My parents move to a new house! Don't worry...still in the same great town!
--Find out we are having another baby! Yay!!
--Platinum takes us on a cruise to Mexico!...Thanks Platinum!
--buy our first house!!
--Get called to be Cub Scout leaders and hold our first pack meeting!...should be fun!
--Turned one year older and wiser!
We had a great year and have been so blessed!! After all that traveling, we are planning to stay put for a little while! This year I hope to read more, cook more (or maybe just better), take violin lessons, learn a new skill (maybe sewing or something), write in my journal, be a good scout leader, and be nice!! Wish me luck!
P.S.
Mike and Tiffany blessed Kaden at their house on New Years Day! He is awfully cute!! Savannah really likes him! We didn't do too much for New Years Eve. We drove over to see some elk that hang out in a field by our house and went to bed before midnight....Happy New Year!

Christmas
Well, it has been a while since we have posted. We have sure had a lot going on lately. Our Christmas was great and we were able to spend a lot of time with family! Here are some pics of it all:

The week before Christmas, my sister put on a live Nativity in her back yard. She asked me to be Mary since I was always a little bitter about never getting to be Mary in our Primary Nativities when I was little. Matt, of course, was Joseph. I have to say, it was a smashing success! Other than Joseph catching on fire at the manger scene, all went well!
Matt's parents and his sister with her family came to our house for Christmas! It was so much fun having them here! It was fun having more kids be around for Christmas morning!

opening presents with Daddy!

Checking out the other kids loot!

Santa brought her a new baby stroller, and as you can see, she was pretty excited about it!

We all went sledding which was so fun! I was really surprised that Savannah actually loved it too!!

Savannah and her cousin, Will riding on the sled.

The weekend after Christmas, we headed down to my parents to see my family. My entire family was there--7 kids with their spouses along with 18 grandkids all staying in the same house!-- It was a little chaotic, but so fun to see everyone! We played on the ice, rode go-carts, and got to visit with everyone!

My parents are BYU junkies, so all the grandkids dressed up for a picture with them. Go Cougars!!

My family had a little program, so I busted out a little "twinkle, twinkle" on the violin while Savannah was supposed to be dancing but really just screamed!
All together, I'd say we had a fabulous Christmas! Things are starting to slow down a little, so hopefully I will be able to update the blog a little more often!
